Maintain Your Spirit and Your Fight

Don’t Say What’s Wrong, Fix It – Instead of complaining about how government doesn’t work, we need to do something about it.

Know Your Own Red Line – We each need to plan of what we’ll do when the administration goes too far (this does NOT include violence).

Don’t Accept What’s Wrong – We can’t go along with changes that are wrong, even when it’s easier to tolerate them.

Focus on Local Actions – The ‘small things’ DO work. Help your neighbors, your community and trust the process.

Be Realistic, but Show Up– This is a marathon, not sprint. Show up, do the work, but pace yourself.

Understand This is Really Happening – The threat to our democracy is real, very real. The only way we can lose is if we don’t do anything.

Give Yourself Some Credit – This process takes patience and persistence. Remember, every time you complete an action pat yourself on the back and acknowledge that you did what you should be doing, and you’ll do it again tomorrow – and the day after. Give yourself permission to feel good about what you did.
